Instructor Courses

During the Instructor Course we will prepare you over a period of 9 days for the Instructor Exam (IE). The course is quite intensive. We deal with all the topics required of an instructor. You will cover information about the diving industry, the PADI system of diver education, standards, procedures and the philosophy of continuing education. There are lectures about the business side of diving and the legal responsibilities. We will teach you how to organize and execute the different PADI courses, theory as well as the swimming pool and the open water activities.

The Instructor Development Course (IDC) revised curriculum of 2000 allows us to provide a more flexible approach to candidates who have already earned a higher level in the diving industry. Below you will find the different possibilities:

For PADI Divemasters:
You take the Instructor Development Course, which consists of the Assistant Instructor Course (4 days) and the Open Water Scuba Instructor Course (5 days).

For PADI Assistant Instructors: If you have successfully completed your Assistant Instructor Course after 1995, you may enroll directly in the Open Water Scuba Instructor Course (5 days).

Coming from other organizations:
For dive guides and instructors coming from other organizations who want to cross over to PADI, check your possibilities on the list of Equivalent Certifications
.
