When you find your organization and level of training in the following list, you may enroll in the Assistant Instructor Course or Instructor Development Course:

ACUC: Divemaster
ANIS: Accompagnatore-Guida Turistica or Aiuto Istruttore
BSAC: Advanced Diver, Assistant Club Instructor, Club Instructor or higher or an Assistant Instructor
CMAS: Three Stars Diver

CMAS: One Star Instructor
FFESSM: Moniteur Federal 1st Degree
FIAS: Accompagnatore Sub + Certificate of Allievo Istruttore

IDEA: Divemaster or Assistant Instructor
IDD: Divemaster or Assistant Instructor
IDF: Assistant Instructor
NASDS: Dive Supervisor
NAUI: Divemaster or NAUI Assistant Instructor
PDIC: Assistant Instructor
SAA: Dive Supervisor (with Rescue certification), Assistant Instructor, or Instructor Grade 2 or higher
SSI: Dive Con
SNMP: Niveau 4
SSAC: 2nd Class Diver
YMCA: Divemaster

Note: Also other certifications may qualify for enrolment in the PADI Assistant Instructor Course or in the Instructor Development Course. If you have proof of certification in diver supervision and management, including proof of rescue diving certification, and proof of CPR/First Aid within 24 months, you may be eligible to enroll in the Assistant Instructor course.
